The story of Russapuglah is the story of Tollygunje, which was once the starting point for a journey to the Sundarbans, then a garden suburb where Europeans could relax away from the city, subsequently a seat for the Mysore princes in exile and later still a small city in itself of clubs for sports and social intercourse.
