Join us on Sunday, 26-Jul-26 at 5:45 pm for the screening and discussion of two short documentaries focussed on the loss of Banni grasslands . About : The Banni grasslands in Kutch are the largest grasslands in India, spanning more than 3000 sq km. It is a place that has a history of migratory semi-nomadic pastoralists that goes back several centuries. The landscape has changed drastically because of human intervention over the past few decades through the introduction of Prosopis Juliflora, an invasive tree. Through these two short documentaries , we explore how the changing environment around them has impacted the livelihood of "Maldhari" pastoralists. The film explores the impact the invasive species has had on their livelihoods and how that is further impacting these grasslands 🎬 Join
